Kentucky State Police Master Trooper Norman Chaffins said in a press release that 51-year-old William Tad Lainhart, of Falls of Rough, in Grayson County, Kentucky, was arrested on charges of sodomy, rape and sexual abuse, which involved “two children who were ages ten to thirteen at the time of the offenses.”
Lainhart was charged with five counts of sodomy in the second degree, four counts of rape in the first degree, and one count of sexual abuse in the first degree of a child under the age of 12, according to the Breckenridge County Circuit Court Clerk’s office.
KSP Detective Ryan Johnson arrested Lainhart on Tuesday, March 5, where he was transported to County Detention Center.
He was then transported to the Breckenridge County Detention Center on Wednesday, where he is being held without bond.
The Circuit Court Clerk’s office said Lainhart will be arraigned in Breckenridge County on Wednesday, March 20, for the charges mentioned above.
