Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul says if there is to be support for immigration reform, the first step would be to make sure the borders of the nation are being secured.
Paul added that going on a promise from Obama isn't enough. He wants to see a report that is offered and is then voted on in Congress.
Republicans were angered by the disingenuous "leak" of the immigration plans of Obama and his administration, as they see it as bringing partisanship back into the process, rather than working in a bipartisan manner to resolve the important issue.
The White House denied releasing the plan of Obama, but it's obviously what really happened in order for Obama to attempt to manipulate the results in his favor.
