Grimes: Obama's Rubber Stamp

Source: WFPL
A sign at a church picnic where Republican Mitch McConnell and Democratic opponent Alison Lundergan
Grimes were both in attendance, revealed the huge problem Grimes has going forward, as a growing number of people understand the hypocrisy between the official teachings of the Catholic Church, and the decision by Catholics who are Democrats, to ignore them.

One sign said this: "Alison's dilemma ... be a devout Democrat or a real Catholic."

Democrats who are Catholics have increasingly flaunted and ignored official Catholic teachings, while parading in front of voters as if they have some type of moral superiority.

Grimes is definitely one of these Catholics in name only, and rejects in many ways the core teachings of the Church; one of which is opposition to gay marriage, which Grimes has stated she totally supports.

It of course rejects all true Christians and Christian churches, which overwhelmingly oppose the sin of homosexuality and gay marriage.

The reality is Grimes is just another Obama robot ready to do her master's bidding, no matter what the people of Kentucky want.

Grimes is a big government Democrat, as evidenced by her ridiculous accusation against McConnell for opposing a so-called fair wage bill for women, which was simply a bill introduced for the purpose of being used against Republicans during the next elections, because of the out-of-control Democrats and presidency, which operates as if it were a monarchy instead of being a representative government.

Her answer to everything is more government intrusion into our lives. Everything is about taking money from the productive and redistributing it to those that haven't earned it.

She is just another anti-Christian, big government liberal who believes government is God, and not Jesus Christ.

A vote for Grimes is a vote for Obama, no matter how it is spun. She's just an extension of who he is.

Liberal Jack Conway Announces He's Running for Governor

Liberal Democrat and Kentucky attorney general Jack Conway has officially announced that he will run for governor in 2015.

Conway got crushed by conservative Republican Rand Paul in the 2010 Senate race, and is unlikely to do well in the race for governor after he refused to fulfil his duty as Kentucky attorney general by not appealing a court ruling which would force Kentucky to recognize and uphold homosexual 'marriages' from out of state.

Conservatives across the state were outraged when Conway revealed he supported the judicial overreach when a federal judge corruptly intervened and bypassed Kentucky law.

Just like Ashley Judd, Conway is wrong for this state, and we need to send a clear message to politicians that they will represent us when we elect them or we'll boot them out of office. Conway must be booted out of office for his disrespect of the people of Kentucky based upon his liberal beliefs and agenda.

When liberals like Conway refuse to support the Kentucky Constitution, how much more mischief will he engage in like Obama has, who has also ignored the Constitution of the United State by calling it a living document; meaning he can make it mean whatever he personally wants it to.

The reason Conway refused to defend the people of Kentucky against this federal intrusion? He said he did it on moral grounds. So where does Conway get his morality when the Holy Scriptures and Jesus Christ say marriage is between a man and a woman?

This liberal, Democratic morality is only sin under the guise of a tolerance. There is nothing more intolerant than the liberals who continue to attack and attempt to destroy Western civilization which is build on Biblical principles.

Fortunately Conway exposed his immoral beliefs, and we must send him back to the private sector to get a real job and repent for sinning against God and the people of Kentucky.

Perry to Speak at Kentucky GOP Fundraiser

With the extremely unpopular Democratic President Barack Obama weighing on the party, it is good
news for the GOP in Kentucky. To add to Republican momentum in the state, Texas Gov. Rick Perry will visit Kentucky to headline a fundraiser at the Lincoln Reagan Dinner on March 15. The event will be held at Murray State University.

The hope and probability is that Republicans will take over the state House in 2014, as the debacle surrounding Obamacare, the attack on the coal industry, and the promotion of policies opposed by the majority of the electorate in Kentucky has the Democratic Party tottering, with little in the way of answers; especially when Democratic Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear continues to move almost lock-step with Obama on national policies.

It suggests the Democratic Party in Kentucky is in bed with Obama, which doesn't sit well the people of Kentucky.

Along with Perry, Kentucky senators Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell have also been invited to attend the event.

At this time the Kentucky House is controlled by the Democrats by a 54-46 majority. It is believed that will change next year, with the Republicans controlling the House and Senate after the 2014 elections.

Obama's Energy Policies Continue to Crush Kentucky

Democrat President Barack Obama's energy policies continue to have a negative impact on Kentucky, as coal producer James River announced it'll be laying off 525 full-time workers as a result of faltering coal markets.

According to data compiled by the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet, eastern Kentucky lost approximately 4,000 mining jobs in 2012.

Whether or not these mines will ever be restarted will be based upon market demand, said James River Coal.

Republican Mitch McConnell, the Senate Minority Leader, said in a written statement, "The President is leading a war on coal and what that really means for Kentucky families is a war on jobs."

Kentucky Secretary of State, Alison Lundergan Grimes, who is one of Obama's Democrats, attempted to distance herself from the policies of the president, calling his regulatory policies "overreaching," isn't believable, as she would have switched parties or run as an independent if she really felt that strongly about it.

Grimes and other Democrats need to be voted out of office in order to be sent a clear message that the people of Kentucky aren't going to embrace the radical, liberal, progressive agenda of Barack Obama, which doesn't represent the values of the people of Kentucky.

Obama's Attack on Kentucky Continues - Lies About Global Warming

In a pathetic and outright string of lies, the president of the United States, Barack Obama, used the bully pulpit in an attempt to deflect attention away from his corrupt administration and on the fictitious tale that there is something called global warming happening in the world.

He didn't mind lying, even though there has been no global warming for 17 years. So why is he doing this? He's pandering to his base, which has been upset with him, along with the majority of Americans.

This will especially hurt Kentucky, as Obama has taken aim at the coal industry specifically, saying he will further reduce carbon admissions, which would drive up the cost of energy in the state.
"The policies of this administration are threatening the very way of life that has sustained Kentucky communities for generations," U.S. Sen. Rand Paul said in a statement.

Obama has been under pressure as leaks of corruption in his administration has resulted in only 43 percent of voters approving of his performance. To that end he has had to resurrect one of the few remaining issues he has that will rally his base, which has been increasingly dissatisfied with his presidency.

One poll shows that "majorities disapprove of his handling of the deficit (63 percent disapprove), the economy (58 percent), gun control (57 percent), health care (55 percent) immigration (53 percent) and foreign policy (50 percent)."

Obama's whore, Democrat, John Yarmuth, of Louisville, as usual backed the destruction of Kentucky's way of life for a climate change work of fiction that has never existed as far as it being related to man.

The people of Kentucky can choose what direction they want to go with energy, and Obama needs to focus on cleaning his own house before he attempts to destroy so many jobs and the people that have relied on their for so many years.

This is way the people of Kentucky must vote the Democrats out of office in our own state, as they have been far too complicit in backing and reinforcing this corrupt president.

Kentucky Democrat Operative Admits to Secret Recording of Private Mitch McConnell Meeting

Kentucky Democratic operative Curtis Morrison, who worked with the unethical, liberal group
Progress Kentucky, admitted in an article he wrote for Salon.com, that he did in fact illegally, secretly record a meeting between Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell and his aides.

Next Friday a grand jury will convene to consider whether or not to allow charges to be brought against Morrison, according to Morrison's attorney.

Since it is illegal under federal and Kentucky state law to electronically record someone without their knowledge, specifically if those recording it aren't part of the conversation, it's almost a surety that charges will be filed against Morrison and approved by the grand jury.

Also as part of his article, Morrison confessed that he was the on that gave the recording to Mother Jones magazine, which released the audio transcript online. As long as they weren't part of illegally getting the recording, a company like Mother Jones may release the information.

McConnell asked the FBI to investigate how the recording had been made.

Don't get the idea that this Kentucky Democrat is contrite, he concludes this: "It was a frustrating moment, but in truth, I’ve never doubted that making the recording was ethical. I believe in the philosophy of Julian Assange: When we open up governments, we bring in freedom. Helping the voting population better understand a political leader’s true priorities is a good thing. And hell yes, it’s ethical."

This is of course hypocritical to the core. He isn't about freedom in the way Julian Assange was, he is about selective freedom, i.e., attacking conservatives and Republicans. I haven't seen anything about liberals and Democrats coming out of Morrison's disturbed mind.

More troubling, the failing ethics of the Democratic Party, not only nationally, but in Kentucky, is stirring up a growing number of people to be sure to vote them out of office next election.

One of the worst was when Democrat Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear said Christians were dangerous, as he vetoed the religious freedom bill, which weakens the ability of government to force Christians to do things against their will. Kentucky lawmakers had to override the bill in order to keep it as law in the state.

We are starting to see the true colors of the Democrats, who act in line with conservative and Christian values until they get a majority in power. You can see what that has brought us with the corrupt and dictatorial, anti-Christian Obama administration.

Let's send a message to Kentucky democrats that they better adhere to conservative principles, although that's hard to do when they represent a party that legalizes the murder of babies, homosexual everything, and isn't afraid to do anything to obtain and remain in power. The only message they understand is to vote them out of office.

As for Morrison, let him spend some time behind bars to contemplate on his wrongdoings. He definitely needs help.

Rand Paul, Mitch McConnell Blast IRS Over Scandal

The Obama administration and Democrats are reeling after the admission by the Internal Revenue
Service (IRS) of corruption within its ranks, as it targeted conservative groups during the last presidential election.

Kentucky's junior senator, Republican Rand Paul, and senior senator, U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, called for an investigation into the outrage as well as transparency from the administration.

McConnell said this:

“Over the past few days we’ve heard many in the media talk about how this has been a ‘rough week’ for the Administration. It’s been a worse week for those who cherish the First Amendment.

“On Friday, we learned that, just as we'd been told by our constituents, the IRS deliberately targeted conservative groups across the country in the midst of a heated national election.

“Over the weekend, we learned that the extent of it was even broader than we originally thought. Then this morning, we all learned that the targeting wasn’t limited to an IRS office out in Cincinnati — as the Administration suggested last week — but that it reached all the way to IRS headquarters in Washington.

“What we don’t know at this point is whether it jumped the fence from the IRS to the White House. But we do know this: we can’t count on the administration to be forthcoming about the details of this scandal — because so far they’ve been anything but.

“So, this morning, I’m calling on the President to make available, completely and without restriction, everyone who can answer the questions we have as to what was going on at the IRS, who knew about it, and how high it went. No stonewalling, no more incomplete answers, no more misleading responses, no holding back witnesses, no matter how senior their current or former positions — we need full transparency and cooperation.

“The American people deserve answers.

“The activities that the IRS has now owned up to, and that were uncovered by their Inspector General, are an outrage.

“We now know that the IRS targeted groups for using such terminology as — get this — ‘we the people,’ and for educating folks about the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

“I mean, you can’t make this stuff up."

Paul addressed the outrageous violation of the constitution by the IRS:

"The IRS has been using taxing power as a political tool to bully these conservative groups and this type of intimidation is a major violation of our U.S. Constitution," Sen. Paul said. "This act of discrimination should not be tolerated and I demand a formal investigation seeking criminal charges against any individuals who authorized or were involved in targeting people of the United States based on their political views."

"The president has deemed this inexcusable, yet actions speak louder than words. It is time for President Obama and his Administration to act and it is our duty as Americans to hold them accountable.

Claiming to be among the first to be targeted by the IRS, conservative activist Eric Wilson of Georgetown, Kentucky, said he's not willing to accept the apology of the IRS.

According to Wilson, the IRS "was outside the bounds," asking for personal information from families of the board members of Kentucky 9/12 Project, which was seeking 501(c)(4) status for the organization. Wilson said they also wanted information on donors and members of the group.

The corruption of the Democratic Party is deepening, as the arrogance of its members against conservatives has gone far beyond decency and legality. This is why we must watch the Democrats in Kentucky closely from now on, as even Governor Steve Beshear, a Democrat, has said Christians are a threat to the state, as he vetoed the religious freedom bill.

It's far past time for the people of Kentucky to purge the state of the infestation of Democrats and their corruption.

Kentucky Democrats and Their Connection to Corrupt Progress Kentucky and Shawn Reilly

As more investigation into the bugging of a private meeting of Mitch McConnell and some of his
aides by Democrat operatives from Kentucky-based Progress Kentucky unfolds, it is beginning to be seen that the participants were not the bungling idiots the mainstream media has attempted to portray them as, but rather have interactions and connections to the highest levels of the Democratic Party of Kentucky, which is increasingly moving left towards their national leader Barack Obama.

Now the question is how high up did the operation involving Progress Kentucky and its taping of the private meeting go in the Kentucky Democratic Party.

White House visitor log records bring damning evidence as to the fact that Shawn Reilly was invited to the White House, confirming he was considered a significant Democratic Kentucky operative by the national Democrats. Several days after his appearance at the White House, the Democratic, liberal Progress Kentucky began its attacks on McConnell, the ethnicity of his wife, and of course the bugging of the meeting between McConnell and his aides.

BuzzFeed said this:

“The head of a group accused of illegally taping private meetings of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s campaign visited the White House days before the group’s Twitter account began actively attacking the Kentucky Republican, according to White House visitors logs.”

The Daily Caller added:
Something BuzzFeed didn’t report: According to the White House visitor log, Matthew Barzun (a “Louisville entrepreneur” who also happens to be Obama’s chief fundraiser) and Keith Runyon (retired, longtime Louisville Courier-Journal editorial page guy) were also in attendance. (You can tell they attended the same meeting because the meeting time is the same, the number of people in the group is the same, they all signed in under the same group number, and, most importantly, the room number for the meeting was the same.)
Additionally, as BuzzFeed reported, Reilly “appears to have been signed in by Victoria McCullough, a staff assistant to Obama confidante Valerie Jarrett.” McCullough signed in Barzun, too.
As for how deep into the Kentucky Democratic Party this corruption may go, here's an example of tweets that confirm interactions at the highest levels.

Per the Daily Caller:

There are other indications that Reilly was well-connected in Kentucky politics. For example, consider this tweet:

@metrodems Board Meeting w/ @brucewriter & @smarkreilly planning Sept 14th meeting & Oct 26th Rally w/ @govstevebeshear & @alisonforsos

— The Metro Dems(@MetroDems) September 10, 2011

So here we have Democratic Governor Steven Beshear and Democratic Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes being connected to Reilly and the corrupt Progress Kentucky political organization.

Added together, it gives the legitimate appearance members of the Democratic mouthpiece the Courier Times, were at the same White House meeting Reilly attended, and then the connections between Bashear and Grims with the liberal group.
None of this is surprising, as Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes refused to condemn the racist attacks on Senator Mitch McConnell's wife, even as ultra-liberal Ashley Judd was quick to do.

When you include Beshear's attack on Christianity when describing why he vetoed the religious freedom bill, you can see the Democratic Party is moving far left towards Obama and his corrupt Chicago political tactics.

Here's what Beshear said about the religious freedom bill he vetoed:
"... I have significant concerns that this bill will cause serious unintentional consequences that could threaten public safety, health care, and individuals' civil rights."

His words can't be misunderstood. He is saying the freedoms all Christians have the right to enjoy and exercise, are a threat to "public safety, health care, and civil rights."

All of those are buzz words for paying for abortions via Obamacare and being forced to accept homosexuals and other deviant lifestyles.
In the next election cycle we need to let the increasingly radical and liberal Democratic Party that those of us in Kentucky will not allow them to turn our state into another California. To do that we must vote them out of office and put strong conservatives who represent the values of the vast majority of people living in Kentucky.

It appears the Louisville Courier-Journal, radical liberals, and the Kentucky Democratic Party are banding together in an attempt to turn the state and values it represents into those that we vehemently oppose. We can't let it happen.

Beshear Says Christians are a Threat to State

In an outrageous attack on Biblical Christianity, Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear vetoed a bill strongly supported by the vast majority of the people of Kentucky, which would have given Christians and other religious groups stronger protections.

The legislation would protect "sincerely held religious beliefs" from being infringed unless there is "a compelling governmental interest."

Beshear sided with homosexuals and others partaking in deviant behavior, along with the anti-Christian American Civil Liberties Union of Kentucky. It's a page right out of Obama's political playbook, who is apparently Beshear's mentor and hero.

Here's what Beshear said after pretending he valued religious freedom: "... I have significant concerns that this bill will cause serious unintentional consequences that could threaten public safety, health care, and individuals' civil rights."

Let's put this in the right light. Beshear is saying he's siding with the anti-Christian forces against the Christians of Kentucky, worrying more about the immoral practitioners of sin forbidden by the God of the Bible.

What he basically said was Christian protections threaten "threaten public safety, health care, and individuals' civil rights." Listen to what this thug says: Jesus Christ and His people are a threat to public safety, health care, and the rights of those flaunting their sins in the face of Almighty God who most of the people of Kentucky believe in. Who does Beshear think he is?

Republicans and Democrats in Kentucky strongly supported the bill, as do the vast majority of the people of Kentucky.

The Family Foundation spokesman, Martin Cothran, said Beshear's veto was sad news in such a strong Christian state.
This puts churches around the commonwealth of Kentucky on notice that the First Amendment religious freedoms they thought their government respected may now be negotiable. We just hope elected lawmakers in the Legislature will act quickly to correct the governor's action. We think they will.

Democratic Rep. Bob Damron of Nicholasville, who sponsored the bill, said it won't make a profound change in the state, contrary to the histrionics and exaggerations of opponents to Christianity.
But it does reinforce that somebody's basic right of religious expression is paramount and the government has to have a compelling interest to override that.

This is exactly what the Bible teaches, and every government in the world is expected to comply with the rights the followers of Jesus Christ have in worshipping and practicing their faith.

Damron and others are ready to override the veto, and are preparing to do that before the legislative session closes next week.

As for Beshear, this will be considered the defining moment of his Governorship, and now he needs to be removed by the voters of the state for his refusal to acknowledge the God-given rights of Christian believers, as well as other the rights of others with different religious beliefs.

Remember Beshear's attack on the people of God next election cycle. Let it be a big statement to those who refuse to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords, and not wannabees like Beshear and other Democrats like him.

It's unbelievable that Beshear would veto a religious freedom bill, pointing to his belief that he is above the will of God and Jesus Christ His son.

Beshear did the usual song-and-dance about how he respects religious rights, but his actions confirm that he in reality doesn't. It's not what a person says, but what he does that reveal his true beliefs. Governor Beshear, now we know who you are, and you need to be removed from office for your arrogance and opposition to the Christian faith.

Let's Hope Ashley Judd Runs Against McConnell for Senate Seat

The more people in Kentucky think about Ashley Judd running against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, the more they are getting nervous if they're Democrats, and the more they're rejoicing if they're Republicans.

Even when her own mother and sister talk about Ashley, there is no love lost between them, and the allegations made by Judd against her mother especially points to an extremely flawed individual that would garner no sympathy at all from the majority of Kentucky voters she is not only in conflict with as far as values, but acts as if she is superior to in her comments about them and their work in the state.

For Democrats in Kentucky, some at first started salivating over the prospect of a Judd run against McConnell, because he's considered vulnerable against the right candidate. But as people examine Judd and her extreme comments, Democrats are starting to squirm because they see the complete disaster that Judd will be for them, as the national party, which is totally out of step with the people of Kentucky and their values, is pushing to make her the candidate they think can unseat McConnell.

That's a delusion generated from their sheltered existence in Washington, where they can't see anywhere in the country that wouldn't kneel to their wisdom and insight. In regard to Kentucky, there is such a wide chasm between someone like Judd and the people, that even committed, conservative Democrats would not vote for her. The national Democrats simply don't see how terrible she is viewed by Kentuckians.

It's worse than that though. The Kentucky Democrats will be strongly pressured to back Judd if she decides to run, and the party will be painted with her views, as well as Obama's, which will set the Kentucky Democratic Party back for years.

That election it would be a slaughter by the Republicans, who would get the vote in a way they haven't for some time in the state across numerous counties that have went Democrats' way recently.

The bottom line is the Senate race would be a national election, and there is no way a liberal like Judd could ever win in Kentucky.

We could even see a big rift in the Democratic Party of Kentucky because many of its leaders currently in office know they would be in extreme danger of being painted with the attributes of Judd, something many of them won't be able to escape.

Republicans on the other hand are more than hoping Judd will enter the race, as it's one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that can change history.

The question is if the national Democrats will give this terrific gift to the Republicans or not. If they do, it'll be extremely difficult for many Democrats to back her, and will be extremely interesting to see how they respond.

No doubt this is great theater that will be played out on the national level. This is what terrifies Kentucky Democrats ... and it should. Once it starts to be covered in the mainstream media, there is no backing out.

The repercussions could be extraordinary, swift, and ominous. It's amazing that many top Democrats such as Governor Steve Beshear are giving her praise. That means national leaders are already pressing hard for Judd's run. What an amazing debacle is about to happen.

Rand Paul's One-Man Filibuster Against Brennan as CIA Director, Drone Program

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul continued to talk for hours in a filibuster against the nomination of John O. Brennan as director of the CIA. Paul and others are grave concerns about the drone program in the U.S. which is believed to be able to assassinate American citizens on U.S. soil.

The filibuster by Paul effectively stopped a vote from going forward, and vows to continue in order to "shame the president into doing the right thing,” which is to get a public vow from Obama that no Americans will be targeted within U.S. borders by the domestic drone program.

What is troubling lawmakers on both sides of the political aisle is suspected terrorists or those with suspected ties to terrorists that are U.S. citizens could be killed without having their day in court.

Of course the underlying issue is American citizens could be indiscriminately targeted based upon other criteria because they are considered an enemy of the state or possibly even inconvenient to schemes and agendas the government wants in play.

Evidence can easily be manufactured using government resources, and it would be extremely difficult to know what is or isn't true under those circumstances.

When pressed by Paul about a scenario in the Bluegrass State where a person could be executed while sitting in a cafe, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. asserted a person can't be assassinated on U.S. soil unless they are considered an imminent threat to the security of the country.

Again, that's what is at issue. The power resides in the executive branch, and the vast majority of those decisions are made in secret. There is no doubt any president or other government officials could use their power for purposes far beyond terrorist threats to get rid of someone permanently.

The drone program has set the state for that, which is what concerns so many people about the lack of clarity concerning the parameters the program would operate under.

Beshear Going to Bed with Judd?

The idea of Tennessee resident Ashley Judd representing the people of Kentucky is pathetic, as this Hollywood elitest and Obama sycophant is against everything the vast majority of Kentuckians stand for.

Judd isn't simply a liberal, she's radical to the core, and has backed Obama in almost everything he has done.

So when Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear said she would be "an effective and formidable" challenger to Republican U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell, you know forces outside of Kentucky are pressing the Kentucky Democratic party to line up behind this potential candidate.

We'll make Beshear and the Democrats pay in the next election if they don't have the courage to stand up against the outrageous Obama political machine, which uses strong-arm tactics to get its way, as it has when Obama was in Chicago. We don't and won't have Chicago politics in Kentucky, and that's what someone like Judd represents.

Look already at how the Democrats of Kentucky have backpedaled of the despicable Judd. Initially they were all running from her with the exception of a couple of Democrats residing in safe, liberal Kentucky strongholds.

Democrats of Kentucky know if Judd runs, and after she is defeated, that there will be huge payback for supporting her. So when Beshear offers support for Judd, you know his national masters are starting to pull his strings.

This is not good for Kentucky, and we need to let Beshear know we won't have a non-Kentucky resident take up residence for the purpose of running for the Senate.

While it may be legal if Judd takes up residence in Kentucky again, it shows the obsession a radical liberal like her has. Remember when Hillary Clinton did the same when she moved from Arkansas to New York?

So let your representatives know we have no interest in this type of person who is opposed to most of what we stand for to represent us. If they don't resist this encroachment on the people of Kentucky, we'll vote in those that will.

Rand Paul Exposes Obama's Histrionics Over Sequester

Rand Paul laid into President Obama over his "histrionics" over the alleged consequences if the sequester kicks in.

Paul exposes the silly emotional theatrics of Obama, which he rightly notes concerning the sequester, is the idea of Obama himself. Is Obama this confused? Really?

“I mean, for goodness sakes, it was his proposal. He proposed the sequester, it was his idea. He signed it into law, now he’s going to tell us that, ‘Oh, it’s all our fault?’” Paul said on CNN. “I voted against the sequester because I didn’t think it was enough.”

The new idea of a budget cut in Washington is to spend as much as they can over the years, and then when that projected spending growth is lowered, it's called a budget cut. That's what Obama is doing here, pretending there are cuts that will be made, when in fact all they are are reductions in the rate of growth. Nothing more.

Paul concluded:

“I think the sequester happens and it will be in some ways a yawn because the histrionics that are coming from the president saying, ‘Oh, we’re going to shut down and get rid of meat inspectors’ — I mean, is anybody not going to stand up and call his bluff on that ridiculousness?”

In other words, in spite of Obama's childish rantings, there aren't going to be any budget cuts going forward, only a slowdown in increased spending that was already running too high.

Ashley Judd and Ky.s Only Religion Being Basketball

In what is sure to spark the ire of the many Christians residing in Kentucky, former Kentucky Democrat party chairman Jonathan Miller and Ashley Judd supporter said, "There is only one organized religion in this state, and it's Kentucky basketball. She's a very visible fan." Miller was referring to her living in Tennessee and her extreme liberalism.

He also bizarrely added that "...she is identified by Kentuckians as a native and solid Kentuckian." That may seem the case in Miller's confused and distorted extreme and cloistered liberal world he and Judd reside in, but no, most of those living in Kentucky don't think of Judd as being a real Kentuckian, as she has brazenly rejected the values of the vast majority of people living in the commonwealth while hiding away in Tennessee.

Judd is tied lock, stock, and barrel to Obama, and the idea that the policies of Barack Obama, which Judd wholly agrees with and backs, is representative of residents of Kentucky, is laughable at best, and an outright lie at worst.

There's a reason Barack Obama lost all but four counties in Kentucky in the last presidential election. It's also why Obama didn't even bother to campaign in the state: liberals aren't wanted or accepted here, and Ashley Judd is as liberal an anti-Kentucky values as they come. Nothing but lies and dishonesty could ever change that, because it's not a perception but an absolute reality.

Miller's assertion about the only organized religion practiced in Kentucky being basketball, points to the godless world view of people like him and Ashley Judd. It wasn't a slip of the tongue. Liberals like Judd and Miller actually believe these things.

To think he is painting Judd as a religious person because basketball is the god of Kentucky residents only shows how far out he and Judd are in discerning what the people of Kentucky stand for.

Kentuckians are going to drink the kool aid, and this is why the vast majority of Democrats in the state are distancing themselves from Judd, as they know they could be painted with the disastrous liberal label and world view Judd has, which could result in a route of the Kentucky Democrats in the next election.

The strategy to hide and obscure Judd's radical views is to try to run as a Washington outsider rather than the extremist she is. We in Kentucky see through it, and if she brazenly decides to run for the Senate, we'll make her and the other Democrats in the state pay for the affront to Kentucky and its people of the Christian faith.

Kentucky Inmate Faces 5 More Years for Obama Threats

Already incarcerated Kentucky inmate Anthony D. Holliman is now facing federal charges for threatening the life of President Obama, Mrs. Obama, and their children.

Holliman is charged with threatening them in letters to the President and Mrs. Obama separately.

A Louisville grand jury charged Holliman with threatening the president, and a second charge was filed for threatening Mrs. Obama.

It's unclear whether this will really result in more jail time for Holliman if he is convicted of the alleged crimes, as he's already serving decades in prison for other convictions, including rape.

He'll probably get convicted, but the additional five years he could get may not do anything to his sentence if he's already basically serving life in prison.

Holliman, who is 35-years-old, is currently serving a 35-year sentence.

Rand Paul Says Secure Borders before Endorsing Immigration Reform

Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul says if there is to be support for immigration reform, the first step would be to make sure the borders of the nation are being secured.

Paul added that going on a promise from Obama isn't enough. He wants to see a report that is offered and is then voted on in Congress.

Republicans were angered by the disingenuous "leak" of the immigration plans of Obama and his administration, as they see it as bringing partisanship back into the process, rather than working in a bipartisan manner to resolve the important issue.

The White House denied releasing the plan of Obama, but it's obviously what really happened in order for Obama to attempt to manipulate the results in his favor.

Rand Paul Seeks American Assassination Answers

Republican Kentucky Senator Rand Paul said he'll stop the confirmation proceedings for CIA director John O. Brennan until he has answers concerning whether or not Brennan believes drones can be used on American soil to assassinate its citizens.

“I have asked Brennan if he believed that the president has the power to authorize lethal force, such as a drone strike, against a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil,” said Paul, the Kentucky Republican who delivered the tea party response to President Obama’s State of the Union address on Tuesday night.

“My question remains unanswered,” Paul added. “I will not allow a vote on this nomination until Mr. Brennan openly responds to the questions and concerns my colleagues and I share.”

Brennan is now the focus of those that want answers to this question, and so far hasn't been forthright or clear on the issue.

If the Senate Democrats are representative of the Obama Administration and Brennan, it appears they in fact do believe they can assassinate citizens of the country on American soil. They have put forth a plan being dubbed a “drone assassination court,” when an individual or panel of judges would make a decision on whether or not the government can use lethal force in a specific situation using drones.
Since judges will pretty much do whatever the government wants, that's simply a way of rubber-stamping the situation, effectively putting an assassination policy in place for American citizens on their own soil.

The other obvious factor is charges could be made up against those that are deemed enemies of the state, resulting in the murder of someone that may simply oppose the political agenda a president or party in power.

Rand Paul is right in pushing this hard because of the unbelievable abused that could and certainly would follow.

Networks Pretend Rand Paul, Tea Party Don't Exist

Mainstream media and even mainstream political parties like to pretend the Tea Party is a fad or trend that has already left the national scene, as evidenced by the refusal of major networks to air the response of popular Republican Senator Rand Paul to the State of the Union address by Barack Obama.

Even the Republican Party didn't embrace Paul, instead choosing to have Marco Rubio give the "official" rebuttal to the President.

Nonetheless, the Tea Party is vibrant and continues to live outside mainstream media, as it represents far more than politics, but a philosophy and way of life that will never go away for those people who desire freedom and far less government intrusion into their lives.

So whether or not the dying mainstream media outlets, or even the Republican Party want to admit it, the Tea Party remains a powerful and growing force in America, one that stands ready to step in as the United States collapses around us because of the refusal to rein in government spending and lower taxes so businesses and individuals can use their capital the best way they see fit.

For Kentucky, we have one of the best politicians in the country in Rand Paul, and he will continue to get a huge hearing from those desiring liberty and not tyranny.

Congressman Brett Guthrie's Response to SOTU Address

Responding to the State of the Union Address by Barack Obama, Congressman Brett Guthrie issued this statement:

“Tonight, on the anniversary of President Lincoln’s birth, I was hopeful that President Obama would outline his plan to try to work with the House and Senate to address the looming problems our nation faces. Instead, I heard a laundry list of priorities that not only cost billions of dollars in new spending, but do not address our country’s core ailments.

“Our economic climate is cause for serious concern. Hard-working Americans continue to face unemployment and our economy is growing at a slow rate. Crushing federal debt hangs over future generations with no relief in sight.  Our entitlement programs are growing at rapid rates that threaten their sustainability.  This is not the American Dream we have promised to our children.  We must control spending, balance our budget and put our nation back on a path toward a brighter future.

“In addition to shoring up our fiscal situation, I agree with the President that we must place a focus on jobs. Millions of Americans still struggle to find employment, and through job training and investment in a strong workforce we can help put people back to work in better, higher-paying jobs.

“The challenges we face are great, but so is the American spirit. Together, we can tackle these issues and ensure future generations have the opportunity for greatness.”

Mitch McConnell's Response to Obama's SOTU Address

A number of area politicians responded to what is perceived as a very weak and irrelevant State of the Union Address by Barack Obama.

Here is what Senator Mitch McConnell said:

“I was disappointed. The President showed yet again that he can really deliver a speech, but I don’t think anybody needed proof of that. I think what most Americans wanted to hear tonight was the President’s plan to get government spending under control, rein in the debt, and put the private economy back on a path to real growth and serious job creation.

“Kentuckians aren’t interested in false promises; they want to hear what we’re planning to do to streamline government and bring it up to date. They want to hear what it’s going to take to lower the cost of living, and the cost of education and health care. They want to hear what it’s going to take to create good jobs. The President didn’t do any of those things tonight.

“Another thing he didn’t do was to explain how Obamacare is about to start impacting peoples’ lives in a very significant way. Many of us warned about all the terrible consequences of this law. Well, now we’re seeing them. And I think the President who pushed so hard to pass it should face up to its impact, and do something to prepare folks for what’s coming.

“Another thing I’d say is that we don’t need to be fighting about everything in Washington. I happen to be one of those who thinks divided government is the ideal time to solve our nation’s problems. For whatever reason, the President doesn’t agree with that. He seems to want everybody to think that Republicans are all up here with their daggers drawn all the time. It’s absolute nonsense. We’ve got serious problems to deal with, especially spending and debt. Every single one of my Republican colleagues wants to do something to address those problems.

“So I think the President missed an opportunity tonight to lay out a serious economic plan Kentuckians could really relate to, and to reach out across the aisle to get it done.”
