Elizabethtown Parents Charged with Child Abuse

Alexander Irwin
Doctors from Kosair Children's Hospital confirmed the abuse inflicted on the infant child of Alexander Irwin and Jessica Capponi of Elizabethtown, which was brought to the hospital by police in February.

The doctors said the baby boy had broken ribs, a skull fracture, and bruises all over his body. He also weighed less than he did when it was born, suggesting he was being starved by the parents.

Irwin and Capponi have been charged with criminal abuse and assault, and remain in police custody at this time.

  2. Don't say that about my big brother! I don't know what the hell happened here, but he isn't a bad person... The last time I saw him was over the summer and he was bawling for some reason I cant remember. I understand what he did was extremely wrong... but no body has the right to say he needs to be tortured!
